I’ve been after one of these Air Temperature sensors for my loom for a while and finally Managed to track one down from Burton Power. It’ll help the ECU trim the engine for variations in the weather.

Comparing the Looms

Gave the gearbox the second stage of cleaning tonight and then cracked on with the wiring looms. Here’s the comparison:

Some of the items on the standard loom are redundant with the Omex setup and Throttle Bodies so will be omitted. Other items will need the wiring preserving and so these will be raided from the spare loom. There’s also some necessities on the front lighting loom that I’ll consider splitting out and incorporating into the engine loom.
