So having had a few plans in mind going forward with the Rallye, I’ve been on the look out for various essential parts. Then this came on the market at a fantastic price and the economics of buying it as a donor car just made sense. So there’s now a 106 GTI in the stable too, well for the time being at least!
I’d love to get to owning a works spec car. Anyone who’s been on the Streamline Carbon website will have seen Bic’s 106 with it’s Maxi body kit. There are few of these Maxis out there because of the extensive work needed to modify the suspension to work with the kevlar bodykit panels, but this one is particularly impressive with a 2 litre engine out of a Peugeot Touring Car…
