Moving On

Earlier in the week, I had a play with the rivnut gun and have prepared the front doors on the Rallye for the new carbon door cards.

I found some yellow rubbery plastic draw handles in B&Q last year so bought a pair for door pull closures. I ordered some titanium and alloy fastners from Pro Bolt so when everything gets fitted, I think the interior is going to look good.

Weighed a few bits and pieces in the process of doing things and have updated the table of weights.

A full interior set of door cards have arrived from Streamline Carbon for the Rallye. I’ve made up some cardboard templates to get the mounting points lined up before I take a drill to several hundred quid of beautiful twill.

I’m also going to be needing one of these spot weld drill bits in the near future too as I start ditching some unnecessary steel bracketry from the shell.
