Electrical Gubbins

Single wiper motor wired in (the AX has the same plug as the 106 so it literally just plugs in) and test fitted. Just need to touch up the paintwork and secure the unit in place.

I weighed the bag of wiring cut out so far and the weight saving is now 1.25kg. Not really much more that can come out of the car at the moment, maybe half a kilo on the current wiring requirements. When the heated rear screen comes out when the polycarbonate goes in there’s a litle more weight that can be cut from the car. Maybe if I get really desperate I could take out the heater matrix and blower and fit an electric demister unit in the long run.
