Prep Work

Nearly finished the prep work in the scuttle it’s all primed now, just needs a top coat and some lacquer.

Also painted up the wiper mechanism. It’s comprehensively galvanised and has stood up to a lot of use so far, but it was covered in overspray and I thought it’d just look neater to paint it up too.

Also managed to rid the interior roof panel of sticky residue from the head lining and also a load of adhesive that had been sprayed in the NS door opening behind the seal to hold the carpet on the sill. Little things, but all steps forward.

The parts came in from the different suppliers. The bolts from Namrick are just what I wanted, but the grommets I’ve been sent in the other order are open grommets rather than blanking ones and will have to be exchanged.
