Progress

Not much to report on the Rallye side of things. I’ve zinc primed the footwells and the interior roof panel where they’d been scratched through to the bare steel. Looking at the wiring loom again today there are two wire’s that I’ve missed in the big cull going to the back of the car and I’ve decided that I’ll take out the handbrake sensor too – the lone wire looks daft and the mounting bracket is coming off anyway. I can tell when the handbrake’s on – without needing a warning light on the dash!

That said I’ll probably wait until the car is back from the workshop before tackling this as I have enough other stuff to be cracking on with. I fancy routing the cables in back of the car through the bodywork above the rear arches. That was they’ll disappear into the rear quarter panels and re-appear where the rear light cluster wiring pops out on either side.
