There is perhaps nothing less dull that bodywork prep work. I spent most of the weekend working on the interior. Filler and primer and sanding with wet and dry is a time consuming and dull business. Making some progress, but it just feels so slow. With that completed it finally feel like progress is being made with the interior respray.
The whole thing has a first coat of primer. It makes such a difference just to have it all one standard colour! That said there are one or two spots that are reacting to the paint so these will need sanding back and blasting with surface cleaner to try and neutralise the problem.

Also keyed the paint on the roll cage for a new coat of gloss black. I’ve started spraying some of this too. The original powdercoat was looking a bit tired and needed sprucing up a bit, plus there was a fair bit of overspray on it in places too. Bizarrely around the feet there’s some rust which has been treated now and will be zinc primed before painting.
