Fitted all the wheel studs and finally bolted up the last sections of the roll cage. New Scorpion stainless steel exhaust centre section with motorsport cat arrived. Once that’s fitted and I’ve worked out why the new horn has stopped working, I should be able to get it MOT’d and back on the road!
Exhaust seller neglected to mention that it would need blanking plugs for the two lambda sensor holes either side of the cat.

Ordered the necessary plugs off eBay – they’re M18 x 1.5 thread. Ordered a new poly exhaust hanger too. After some contemplation, I’ve decided to sell the full manifold back Magnex setup and put a 3″ Peugeot Sport back box on instead – so I’ll get that ordered later in the month.
Fitted the blanking plates I had made for the door speakers during the week today. I made these by just cutting some out of white plasticard for the time being, but the plan is to gets some carbon ones from Streamline Carbon in future.

Fixed the issue with the horn – just a loose connection on one of the spade connectors. Crimped a new one on and it worked straight away. I have decided to start work on the underside given I’m waiting on exhausts now. Cut off the brackets for the spare wheel holder and started cleaning up the underside ready for painting – suspect that will keep me busy for a few days.
