Exhaust turned up, so I did a dry run assemble and it all fits. Ordered a new heat shield as the fuel tank worryingly didn’t have one and a stainless steel exhaust clamp so once they arrive I can fit them and the exhaust on. Managed to get the POR15 rust preventative coats on, so the next jobs are to prime, seam seal, underseal where necessary and then top coat. Seems to be taking ages with lots of dirty work involving getting under the car, but I feel like progress is being made albeit slowly. Just need to get it MOT’d then.

Once the MOT is done, I wouldn’t mind then actually doing some driving, then it’ll be off the roads for a bit again while I:
- Drop the rear beam and fuel tank.
- Clean and treat the rest of the underside (only doing the boot floor back to the rear beam at the moment).
- Refurbish the beam.
- Fit the poly bushes to replace the cracked and worn rubber mounts on the rear beam.
- Fit the braided fuel and brake lines.
