I haven’t been sitting idle recently, I’ve just not had a lot of time for getting on with the chassis. New wire for the welder turned up end of last week after a bit of a wait (I am fussy about what I use):
With it I was able to finish off the reinforcement of the steering column mounting. I had all the sections made up and just needed to finish welding them on. I am just working on the secondary mounting point for the column. It’s currently attached with two M10 bolts and I am going to add another two. So a bit of cleaning up of the welds and I will get that fitted and the whole thing painted up.
I have also been working on another couple of jobs including something a bit special for the interior. I’m just waiting for some deliveries of parts to finish things off.
