Made up a repair patch. Cardboard templates, cut from zintec sheet and a bit of fine tuning with aviation sheers and it’s ready to tack into place. Didn’t get one of the first tack flush so chopped it out and started again.

Finished butt welding in the repair then ground down the welds.

Cleaned up and coated with POR15 patch seam sealer. It’s like extra thick POR15 and comes out of a giant tube like toothpaste.

It’ll just need a light sand back and then primer and paint.
