Thread revival time. K16 PUG left Bic and came into my care yesterday. At the time rather than start a new thread on some of the forums, I intended to keep them going, sharing the updates from here. Well that was the plan, time permitting.

More updates once I come to terms with things. First job is a big clean as the car is filthy from a combination of barn storage, Gatebil mud and UJ grease. It certainly has potential…
The plan at this stage is to get it running. I have a tuned N/A 1600 TU5JP4 block to go in and I scored Danny Claydon’s BE box with a Quaife. So will need to find a way to get these in. I’ve ordered a Citroen Sport engine mount from the C2R2 max and will modify the engine side chassis rail to mount that then will just need to find a suitable adapter plate for the gearbox side to make the Hockly mount and BE fittings join. You know it just isn’t going to be that simple…
After that drive shafts. Then make the loom work and drive it. Longer term:
- Proper wheel arch tubs fabricated and fitted fornt and rear. Probably along with Colin’s wishbone mount to strut top supports.
- Maybe the strut brace too.
- Fit the OBR electronics.
- Bond on the rear quarters and paint.
- Interior paint.
As is the way may it not happen in the order I have planned, but that’s the rough run of things. Ulitmately I want to get this back to a road legal car.
