So since the last update my dad came up and we blitzed the car for a full day getting it 85% stripped, over the next couple of weeks I did the rest, taking it back to a bare shell. As the destination was the scrap yard I chopped out a few bits just in case like the engine mount bracket and this:

Bonus points if you can work out why.
I then bought these from Screwfix to create the ultimate low rider stance.

Don’t do what I did as these were rubbish castor wheels which literally fell apart in use and I had a nightmare with them and mounting them to the shell. Still they did enough to allow me to get them on the truck for the trip to the scrapyard:

The car looking quite sad for itself:

Mostly tarmac in this picture

It doesn’t look any better with the engine and gearbox taken out!

Final resting place at the scrapyard.

So with a garage now full of the complete bits for a working car all I needed was a new shell. After 12 hours driving started yesterday I arrived home and by 3am this morning had the new one tucked in the garage. As I have entered back into Rallye ownership, it’s time for a new build thread.
