Modified Spare Wheel Carrier
On the last drive the back end was very noisy but it only became apparent what it was when I took the photos yesterday and had a look underneath. I had not secured the spare wheel properly. Fixed it now. https://youtu.be/l8NbQafIq-Y

The Dodo Juice orbital polisher I bought turned up today so I cracked out the Megs polish and pads that came from Clean your Car last week and got to work. Not finished yet, but I think it will look a bit better once done

MOT was fine, took the car in hot and it was very quiet first thing in the morning. 8v Rallye Patching
Made up a repair patch. Cardboard templates, cut from zintec sheet and a bit of fine tuning with aviation sheers and it's ready to tack into place. Didn't get one of the first tack flush so chopped it out and started again. Finished butt welding in the repair then ground down the welds. Cleaned up... Continue Reading →
