Wiring Update

Spent a bit more time looking at the differences in the loom. I need two type-b switching relays for the:

  • Fan
  • Fuel Pump

The OMEX loom has to be wired into the rev counter/tacho on the dash (429). The Omex controls for the fuel relay and rad fan relay coupled with a positive power feed connect through the relays that are needed. I also need a 110cm 7.5mm OD cable with 9mm ring terminals for the run between the starter motor and alternator.

The OMEX loom needs supplementing with additional cable runs to the following in the engine bay:

  • Oil level sensor on front of block to dash (414/415)
  • Oil pressure switch spade connector on front of block to dash (410)
  • Alternator field to dash (1070)
  • Starter solenoid to ignition (100)
  • Gearbox reverse to passenger fusebox (c073-c07)
  • Oil temperature on back of sump to dash (411)
  • Coolant temperature (bottom blue connector) to dash (401)
  • Gearbox speed sensor to dash (465)
