Plastic Welding

I imported a Polyvance plastic welder from the US – they do one with a European style plug which is fine as a I can use that with a European Style cable reel that I have. I bought it for doing a bumper repair on the Audi and as the wheel arch liners can’t be seen once fitted and that they’re over £120 each if you can still find them new, they seemed like a good candidate for repair.

Not going to sugar coat its the repairs aren’t pretty, but they are reinforced with stainless steel mesh so should be pretty robust once fitted back on the car.
