Sourced a suitably smaller ribbed belt for the alternator setup.
That worked.
Then made an upper mounting bracket initial prototype. Definitely needs to be replaced with something more appropriate, to get the rose jointed link better positioned. I’ll come back to this.
Also want to stiffen up the lower mounting too. There’s a plan for that. Aiming for something like this…
