Throttle Bodies

When I bought K16 PUG there were a few significant omissions from the car which had self destructed on track at Gatebil. Primarily this was the EW engine and Sadev gearbox. I’ve had the engine since I picked up the car, but it was straight out of a Peugeot 206 GTI 180 and came with standard inlet and throttle body. Time to get it back to spec. With the gearbox sorted, this year it was time to get the throttle bodies.

Pug1Off provided the goods. We went for a 50mm carbon stepped back plate and short filter (The injectors and fuel rail end up overhanging the horn flange plane otherwise) and beautiful 50mm Satchell Trumpets. 48mm Jenvey SF bodies and EW inlet. I drilled the backplate for the bodies and have done a mock up assembly.

In the box is the fuel rail with AN-6 fittings, Contactless TPS, and the throttle linkage so this should all be good to go. I’ve kept the blue Bosch 0280156139 injectors which flow 260cc/min, but they need a refurb and testing. ECU and engine loom next are now the last missing piece of the puzzle.
