Back on Track

Some calculating, a couple of pilot holes to get the cuts in the right place and then started the work on the spot welds.

Quite pleased with the spot weld removal, just needed a little bit of a tickle to clean off the remnants. Next up was a vertical cut to allow the cross member end plate to hinge up into the right position.

Drilled to put in a row of plug welds in at the top in addition to those in the plate welded on below. Bit of extra reinforcement.

Back to where we were previously, which was the enabler for the next piece of the puzzle…

…boot floor stiffener channels refitted. Boot floor going in is the net job.
